The municipality of Bohinj is one of the most visited tourist municipalities in Slovenia, with its natural beauty receiving over 350,000 visitors annually, some of whom travel by local bus. Tourists can buy bus tickets at one of three ticket machines.
The ticket machines are equipped with an invoicing application, which is connected to the Nexgo UN20 unattended terminal via the ECR protocol. The kiosk terminal is entirely designed for cashless transactions.
UN 20 terminal has the Etrapay application loaded with integrated card payments via NEXI CE. With this, the Municipality of Bohinj increased the flow of turists and simplified ticket sales, thereby reducing the need for additional staff and reduced costs of sales.
