Boardroom Discussions is an award winning program from AmCham Croatia, focused on education, experience exchange and networking between interested members.
At the fifth session of this award winning format the keynote speaker was Aurora Volarević, Vice President Corporate Affairs, Infobip.
Aurora Volarević has over 25 years of experience in the banking and telecom industries, she was previously part of Deutsche Telekom’s global audit management team and headed the Internal Control, Audit and Risk Department for HT Group and Montenegro Telekom. She also held a number of management positions in the banking industry, including Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation and UniCredit Group.
Aurora has led a number of complex, global cutting edge projects to improve processes in the areas of financial and IT audit and fraud detection.
Keeping agility in the company’s growth phase is a challenge that all startups face. The discussion covered the activities Infobip has undertaken in the Corporate Affairs departments (Legal, Data Privacy, Compliance,..) to support the company’s exponential growth and how they have introduced an agile way of working and integrated standard support functions in the sales process.
